House plans

The plan catalog.

Every plan we list is a complete, dimensioned plan set, not a concept picture. Right now that's one ranch home. ADU and barndominium plans are next, and you can tell us what you'd want in them.

ADU plans

An accessory dwelling unit is a small home that shares a lot with a main house: a backyard cottage, an apartment over a garage, or an in-law suite. With so few square feet, every one has to earn its place.

ADU rules are local. Your city or county decides whether you can build one, how big it can be and where it can sit on the lot. Check before you fall for a footprint.

Barndominium plans

A barndominium puts living space and a working shop under one roof, usually in a building that reads more barn than house.

Ask how your building department handles them. Barndominiums can be post-frame, steel or conventionally framed. The structure type affects engineering and how the plans are reviewed, so ask early.
